Emma is a champion! Her soccer team won in tournaments on Saturday. It was an exciting game to watch. She was fortunate to be a great team and great coaches. She learned a lot and had fun playing. She gave it her all and it all payed off in the end. Way to go Emma! Look at that trophy!

Happy Birthday Grammy. We are sitting on our deck eating our cake and ice cream. We promise we won't fall off the deck. We love you. Thank you for being the best grandma in the world.
This deck is going to be awesome! We had at least 10 or more guys from the ward come and help ALex get the HUGE posts in. It was a sight to see. We are so grateful for good friends and neighbors. Even for Baga and Grammy who also helped. We couldn't have done it without you. We hope to have it done this month. Alex has put so much time, money and love into this deck. I told him he is grounded from Home Depot when this is done.

First Day of school! Go Manila Mustangs! They were so excited. Emma is going into 5th grade, Olivia into 3rd, and Landry is a big 1st grader this year. They all have great teachers so it is going to be a great year.
Thanks to Grandma Kristi the kids were all decked out in their new clothes, backpacks, and shoes. It was a huge blessing to us, and we were so glad to have her and baga their on the first day of school.
Just like Grandma!!

Happy Birthday Alex! You are getting old. Not! He broke the birthday cake tradition this year. No Baked Alaska.....We had sugar-free fat-free chocolate pudding with fat free whipped topping with crushed almonds and sugar-free caramel on top. It was actually pretty good. I felt a little bad about not making his Baked Alaska. He wanted all of us to enjoy his pudding as much as he does.

His parents were in town for his birthday. He got to golfing with his father to some really beautiful place. I don't remember where. He had a great time, and I think he even beat his dad for the first time.
